Our Work

How We Help

We help veterans and their families in a number of ways, including rehabilitation, peer mentoring, employment & skills development and supporting those in the criminal justice system.

Rehabilitation & Reconnection

Our main focus is on helping veterans transition smoothly back into civilian life. Whether they left the army recently or many years ago, we offer a variety of support services tailored to their unique needs. Our aim is to break down the barriers that veterans often face, ensuring they have access to the resources and support they need to lead fulfilling lives.

Peer Mentoring Programme

A cornerstone of our foundation is our peer mentoring programme. By connecting veterans with mentors who share similar experiences, we provide a supportive environment where they can learn, grow, and regain confidence. This personalised approach has proven effective in helping veterans rebuild their lives and achieve their goals.

Support for Veterans in the Criminal Justice System

We also extend our support to veterans who are or have been involved in the criminal justice system. Our team understands the complexities and challenges associated with this and offers guidance and assistance to help them get back on track. Through our programmes, we strive to reduce recidivism and open doors to new opportunities.

Employment & Skills Development

At Healthier Heroes Foundation, we believe that gaining meaningful employment is a crucial step towards independence and self-sufficiency. We assist veterans in finding jobs and developing new skills, providing them with the tools needed to succeed in the workforce.
